Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Don Cheadle and Jerry Weintraub are other celebrities who are working for this organization. George Clooney has narrated the story and produced a documentary ‘Sand and Sorrow’ for this organization. On December 13, 2007, George Clooney along with Don Cheadle was presented with the Summit Peace Award by the Noble Prize Laureates at the eighth Annual Summit of Noble Peace Prize Laureates held in Rome.
On January 18, 2008, United Nations announced George Clooney’ appointment as ‘United Nations Peace Messenger.
